Mission statement:

The mission of the University of South Sudan is to provide the opportunity for South Sudan to receive a quality and broad-based educational experience in a 21st century enviroment. The University will be committed to the highest standards of academic excellence.  We dedicate ourselves to provide the best possible education for our students by developing the knowledge, attitudes, and skills essential for lifelong learning. In order to meet the needs of our diverse South Sudanese population, our school will strive to provide cost-effective education and attain high academic achievement and personal growth. The school’s focus is to prepare students for effective and ethical leadership in an involving global economy in three to four years. The faculty is dedicated to excellence in teaching and continued intellectual growth through applied research, professional development, and service. In five years as a functional institution, the school will build on a strong community relation, world class school with excellence in collaborative partnerships with regional, international, and  governmental  resources of the Republic of South Sudan.  Outstanding faculty and staff, and the state-of-art facilities to foster current relevant and forward endeavor and learning that provides highly educated graduates and outstanding service to the nation.
